More fun with Lexi

We had ribs and a delicious potato casserole for Father's Day and then I was whipped soundly at Blokus but rebounded to whip all of them at Yahtzee. I remain the Queen. Posted via cell phone.

Deja vu

Here I am again on Sunday morning at Starbuck’s in Newport while Mom attends Mass at Holy Spirit. Listening to the South Pacific soundtrack and sipping a Banana Chocolate Vivanno, catching up on all my scrappin’ news and email. Not that anyone is writing to me…..

Landmark

Landmark

On Friday, Chrissie and I spent the afternoon with Saralee. We grieved together over our losses, visited a rubber stamp store (Stamp Your Art Out) which no doubt thrilled Saralee to her toes and then dropped her off at the home of her friends, Marty and Fred who are renovating an historical landmark home in Montgomery.

That’s a monster of a project, including the landscaping, which would overwhelm me in an instant. A finished scrapbook layout is about as much ambition as I can muster up.

Chrissie, Saralee and me. It was a hot and humid afternoon. I’m sure you can see the sweat glistening on my nose. But it was FANTASTIC to see Saralee and spend four hours with her on this whirlwind adventure.

cousins

Some more “new” cousins I have never met, or have barely met. Eric is the son of first cousin Gary with his Australian wife, Jo and their little girl Krissany. Gary’s little sister Brenda with her youngest daughter Cassie. Gary and Brenda are the children of Dad’s brother Donald.
